Reports have surfaced today that Nintendo has released to the public, the trademarked title, Delta Emerald. It's only been a few weeks since Nintendo confirmed the Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire remakes for the 3DS, due out in November this year, and Emerald did follow those who two games originally. While we have yet to hear any new one whether or not we will be getting the follow up to Pokemon X and Pokemon Y, most likely going to be titled Pokemon Z, we'll just have to and see what happens and we'll hopefully hear more at this years E3.

Through a promotional deal between the German automobile manufacturer, Mercedes-Benz, and Nintendo, Mario will be receiving a free piece of DLC that features him driving in a new Mercedes GLA. I have to say, when I saw this screen shot, I was not entirely sure that it was legitimate but apparently it is so car fans and Mario fans get excited. This DLC is only planned for Japan for now but Nintendo was reportedly, "confident," in it hitting western shores later after the games release. Mario Kart 8 will be in stores tomorrow! Despite reports of poor performance on various systems, Ubisofts Watchdogs is officially a hit. The game that is a strong contender for game of the year, has not only moved a good number of units in 24 hours but has also become Ubisofts fastest selling game title with a target sitting at 6.3 million. A company that's produced titles from the Assassins Creed series and Far Cry, Watchdogs looks like it's going to be around for a long time.
I was having a discussion late last night with a friend of mine about his excitement for the new "MK." I responded with, "wait, a new Mortal Kombat," only realize that he meant Mario Kart. Still exciting nonetheless but I was a little disappointed. It's funny how things workout though, as I got on the computer today I hear a whirlwind of MK news regarding All Days Gamers acquisition of the poster, pictured above. With a broken spine, the logo and a simple "who's next," fueld was added to the fire when Ed Boone, game creator, tweeted out "Who's next?" As well. Ed Bone has also been tweeting numbers that countdown on an announcement on June 2nd. Will this be another game or maybe even a movie? Who knows! More on that when the announcement comes.
Long before Animal crossing and other life simulation titles, there was Harvest Moon. A game that dates as far back as 1996 one the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. While the latest title, also known as "Farm Story," will be as close to the original Harvest Moon games as you can get. Having most of the team who worked on the core of the series, the only reason for the games name change, which was already release as Farm Story: Connect to a New World, In Japan, is the companies acquisition by XSEED Games. Set to be released this fall, Story of Seasons will feature a deep character customization and features key to the series. Hopefully the game doesn't run into another Tomadachi Life controversey. We'll be seeing more of this title for the 3DS at E3 this year and a release date is planned for 2014.

After hitting a snag, the Daredevil series is back on track and full speed ahead. The 2015 Daredevil setries, set to debut on Netflix exclusively along with 3 other titles, has cast it's Matt Murdoch. You may recognize english actor Charlie Cox from Stardust in which he starred along Claire Danes and the second and third season of HBO's Boardwalk Empire. He's a great casting choice and will be able to bring the grit and raw emotion to the Daredevil series. At this time, he's the only member of the cast announced.
X Men: Days of Future Past is officially a hit. Having been out only 5 days, the film has already generated 261.8 million at the box office this weekend. Fresh off the announcement of Bryan Singer returning for X Men: Age of Apocalypse, we also have an early look at the X Men: Days of Future Past Blue Ray box set, which includes a Magneto helmet similar to Micheal Fassbenders in the film. Unfortunately, there is no release date at this time so more on that when it comes. (Spoilers) Singer has spoken about one of the deleted scenes featuring Anna Paquins character, Rogue, being rescued by Magento and some of the other mutants, that did not make the final cut of the film. This, along with a few others, will most likely appear on the Blue Ray special edition DVD.
Last years controversial Metal Gear 5: Phantom of Pain trailer debuted at E3. Hideo Kojima, current VP of Konami and director of Kojima Productions, stated in a tweet that his follow up trailer, due to debut at this years E3, will be even tougher to watch. For now, check out the first trailer from last year. We'll just have to wait and let anticipation build for this years E3 debut.
On Tuesdays moving forward, I'm going to try my best to post a list and some other things about new video game releases. To officially kick off out post Memorial Day weekend/Summer season is one of this years most anticipated titles, Watch Dogs. I've done a fair amount of talking about this title and the reviews are coming in and seem that it's living up to some of the hype. Watch dogs is available across all platforms with the exception of the Wii U, which will have its release in the 4th Quarter of 2014.
