If you were excited for the Harry Potter sequel films based on the text book from the series, Fantastic Beast And Where To Find Them, then I have great news for you! It was revealed today that Warner Brothers is planning what is said to be "at least," a trilogy for the new series! The script will be written by author J.K. Rowling herself and is based on the book published in 2001 about the magical creatures features in the Harry Potter universe. While a trilogy is not at all surprising, given just how well the Harry Potter franchise did, it will be interesting what these films are going to offer. Fantastic Beast will follow a new set of characters set 70 years before the events that took place at Hogwarts in the original series. The movie is set for a release date of November 8th, 2016. Are you excited to dive back into the magical world of Harry Potter?

One of the best horror manga series is getting a brand new anime to terrify you just ahead of Halloween. The long running horror series Parasyte, ran it's course from 1988 to 1995 but has been considered a staple in the horror genre for manga series. If you're still hesitant, check out the spine chilling, and down right stomach turning, trailer for the new series. It was confirmed this morning the next version of Super Smash Bros for the Wii U, will be released right towards the end of November on the 21st. As shown by this image, a lot of gamers expected this would be the true retail date for the title and a smart move on Nintendo, coming right before the Black Friday shopping holiday. My only question is, are they going to move up the Gamecube controller bundle that's going to be packaged with the game as well?

David Fincher's latest film is a dark and brooding look at a marriage gone awry in the big Oscar contender, Gone Girl. The movie opens with a line stark and jagged enough to immediately sink it's teeth into you and the plot remains dynamic throughout the film, adding enough twist and turns to dynamic change the pace from beginning to end. At one point, it nearly feels like you're watching a completely different movie and it's a very good thing. Ben Affleck plays husband and suspect number 1, Nick Dunne, husband to missing Amy as played by Rosamund Pike. Ben Affleck plays a stellar Nick, plagued by the media, cops and his own in laws, he maintains a good balance of mystery that compliments this story but the real show steal here is Rosamund Pike. This is by far Pike's most superb role, which becomes nearly unrecognizable from her previous films as she completely gives herself to this character. The supporting cast, comprised of Tyler Perry, Niel Patrick Harris, Carrie Coon, and Kim Dickens, off a surprising mix of dynamic roles that only adds to the over all genius and suspense of this film. They're more than a few good shocking moments and Gone Girl is certainly one wild ride. This big Oscar buzz film is a must see so! As expected, Nintendo let go of its latest mega evolution for the up coming Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire and its none other than the flying dragon type Pokemon, Rayquaza. As you can see, it gets quite the look over and a new ability, "Delta Stream," that protects flying type Pokemon as well as the move, "Dragons Ascent." Take a look at the brand new trailer and get excited for these titles to debut November 21st, 2014. |
